We will explore the rich flora and ‘natural plant oxygen bar’ of Ta-pieh Shan. First, we will visit Wuhan Botanical Garden to focus on several specific gardens, such as the Kiwi Germplasm Garden and the Aquatic Plant Resources Repository. We will then visit Yellow Crane Tower, climbing to the top floor for a bird’s-eye view of the first Yangtze Bridge, and we will also explore the unique musical bells performance of the Chu culture. Second, we will go to Wujia Shan National Forest Park in the Ta-pieh Mountains. We will visit the rich floristic region on the border of Anhui, Henan and Hubei provinces and the Longtan Valley with its diverse topography and several scenic spots. The final site will be Tiantangzhai Nature Reserve to explore the rich plant communities and ecosystems.
