China has wonderful natural heritage of plant species. According to latest evaluation report from Kew Garden in U.K., China ranked third in the world in vascular plant species. The attractions of plants in China to botanists from the world is not only due to their species number, but also due to Tertiary relic species, most diverse vegetation in the subtropical regions across the world, rich species evolved with the rising of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, plants of scientific and/or economic interests, etc. The hold of IBC 2017 in China Shenzhen gives Chinese botanists an opportunity to plan wonderful field trip lines to their colleagues from around the world. The field trip lines allow world botanists to visit interesting sites, like Xishuangbanna and Hainan rain forest.
